A licensed physical therapist who complies with the Code of Ethics/Standards of Practice as outlined by the their professional organization and by the State of Illinois. This position includes direct patient care, teaching, participation on appropriate committees and departmental process improvement. Serves as a role model for all therapists and clinical interns in all aspects of professional, clinical, communication, education and leadership activities.


The schedule for this position will be Monday, Friday and every other Tuesday preferred hours would be 9:00-5:30.

Required:

 

  • Bachelors Degree: Degree from a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) is required.
  • Maintenance of a license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Illinois (or licensure application on file with the State Department of Professional Regulation) is required.
  • Maintains current CPR certification.
  • Two to three years of previous work experience delivering physical therapy services in a program and environment similar to Marianjoy is preferred. New graduates may be qualified if clinical fieldwork experience is applicable and supervision by an experience physical therapist is available.
