The Philanthropy Intern provides administrative support and assists with coordinating special events, donor relations, and administrative projects.  Coordinates print materials and mailings for donor communication and events such as functions associated with events including logistics and décor, photography, signage, catering, and other projects as assigned. Special projects may include conducting a donor recognition inventory of recognition across several hospitals and recording in the appropriate donor records, updating donor recognition plaques and bricks, organizing donor files, procedural manuals, and historical materials in accordance with NM’s policy on record keeping, writing donor acknowledgement letters and other communication such as a donor newsletter, and presentation preparation.  Assists with creating and preparing meeting materials for internal and external constituencies.  Assists with special events organized by the philanthropy team across the NM Foundation’s six hospitals.


 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Two years of college experience
  • Experience in a business office and in a highly customer service driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong emphasis on writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a highly professional environment
  • Experience with databases a plus
